FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
"Where is this set?"
London, England, Silly!
"Can I have original characters, or do they have to be canon?"
You're very welcome to have original characters! Canons are pretty exclusive to the plot but there is plenty of room! Originals are nice, so go crazy with the humans, angels and alike.
"How do you 'kill' an Angel?"
With great difficulty, I assure you. If you happen to have one of the very, very rare daggers or small swords that can kill any supernatural spirit with one strong stab to the chest area, then good for you. Otherwise, you're going to find it damn near impossible. This is the main reasoning behind the sins being originally put to sleep, rather than just being killed.
"So, how does an angel become human?"
Ah, the age old question. Well, humans are sadly just vessels once inhabited by an Angel. Of course, there is a hitch. For the angel to take control of the body, the human must originally agree to let them in with a simple 'Yes'. Pretty, no?
"Does the angel then feel anything from the past human?"
They may be able to tap into a few past memories of the human, but otherwise, it's essentially just a 'Meat Suit' after that.
"Can an angel pop in and out of a human?"
You mean, pop in for a cup of tea, and pop out again? No, I joke. I'm afraid if it suppasses 5 minutes then you're really looking at the human being a vegetable for a long time, so I wouldn't advise it. Wouldn't be comfortable anyway.
"Would the Angels have had to change vessels since the original fight?"
Not unless they had wanted to. The bodies after a certain time become accustomed to having a supernatural power in it and so lose much of their original way. So, Angels do not need to eat, although many still do, and they certainly don't need to use the toilets. They can keep the same body for as long as they want/need.
"What powers do the angels have?"
We made a special little species guide for you here , though for the large part it is the same as you would expect. Just don't go overboard or the admins will pull you up on it.
"How about the policy of angel and human love?"
Perfectly possible! After all, once in a human body, the angels are subjected to new emotions like the rest of us. They may not know how to deal with them as well as normal humans can, but they are able to learn.
"And Angel pregnancy?"
I'll admit! Something I didn't think I would ever have to read. Nevertheless, Angels in human form can procreate. Even with humans. Obviously the child's powers will be immensly limited, so would it be worth it? Probably not.
"How do Angels know if they are near another Angel?"
These are supernatural creatures we're talking about. They will be able to sense them.
"If my human dies, do they become an Angel?
So to speak, yes. However, they won't be the same type of Angel and indeed will just stay in Heaven so if your human dies... they're gone. For good. Such a shame! Could be worse, course.
"Surely the sins being stored in a casket for so many years will have some effect on them?
You're very right, nice person. In fact, when the caskets were opened, the sin inside would have been pale and most importantly, asleep. When locked away, the sins were put to sleep by the angels and the only way they could wake up was by an angel strong enough to lift it. This angel is the leading rebel which is why the caskets have only now opened again.
"Couldn't the Sins just zap themselves out?"
Afraid not! The Angels are cleverer than that and put numerous spells on each ensuring there could be no escape.
"What do you mean by the sins being blood-tied to the leading rebel?"
Essentially, that. Although some sins were obviously unwilling to be tied to another creature, it happened in one or another and now their power can essentially travel through him, making them all stronger. However, the bond also means the lead rebel has enormous power over each sin, including reading their thoughts and judging their actions. The Rebel is essentially their Lord.
"What species can I play?"
We have the Angels, the Rebels (another form of Angels that have broken away) and of course, the humans. Whether your human is aware of what is happening is completely your choice.
